Dear Colleague

The 21st annual meeting of the Neuro-otology Society of Australia will be held on 29th and 30th of October, 2011 at the University of Newcastle, Australia.

Our plenary speaker this year will be Professor John Carey from the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, USA. Professor Carey has a clinical interest in disorders of the ear and tumors of the skull base. His research interests include acoustic responses of vestibular afferents, VEMPs, Meniere's disease, and superior canal dehiscence syndrome in humans and animal models.

There will be the usual interesting clinical case discussions, as well as some didactic presentations on topics of interest. The meeting is always friendly and informal and will be of major interest to otologists, neurologists, audiologists, physiotherapists and scientists, as well as ENT and neurology trainees.
